My artwork is about mapping connections between myself and place.

I am creating artworks mapping complex and multilayered connections to place, informed by my life and memories, researching my family genealogy and the industrial heritage and history within the communities I grew up in and live in now, specifically Mayfield, Dalkeith and South West Edinburgh.

Mapping and research into geographical locations, genealogical and geological timelines, informs my installations, sculpture, painting, printmaking and poetry.
